Contraceptive Polypeptide from Hamster Embryos: Sequence of Amino Acids in the Compound

The contraceptive polypeptide from two-cell zygotes in the golden hamster has been analyzed and found to consist of four amino acids. The sequence of the amino acids, determined by Edman degradation and subsequent dansylation with thin-layer chromatography, is presented.
