Editor's Preface |
The following minireview, ``Human Fetal Membranes: Their Preterm Premature Rupture,'' by Gillian D. Bryant-Greenwood and Lynnae K. Millar, is derived from a talk delivered as part of a minisymposium at the 32nd Annual Meeting of the Society for the Study of Reproduction, from 31 July to 3 August 1999 in Pullman, Washington, entitled I've Got to Get Out of Here: Fetal-Maternal Interactions Involved in Human Parturition, organized by Jerome F. Strauss III. The minireview was submitted to the Editorial Office of Biology of Reproduction and was subjected to the same rigorous standards of peer review as all manuscripts published in the journal.
