• Supplemental Figures - "Supplemental Figure 1. Brightfield image of purified epididymal spermatozoa. Spermatozoa from the caudal region of mouse epididymides were purified using a percoll gradient. Brightfield images were obtained using a Nikon microscope at 40× magnification. Image shown is representative of the level of purity typically obtained following centrifugation on a percoll gradient.

  Supplemental Figure 2. Amplification of input DNA from SP1 ChIP assay. Chromatin immunoprecipitation assays in mouse epididymal spermatozoa were performed using SP1 antibodies. Input DNA was obtained and represents starting material (chromatin that was not subjected to immunoprecipitation). Input DNA was subjected to quantitative PCR using primers that amplified the proximal promoters of the Hspa1b or Hist1h1t genes. The data shown represent threshold cycle (dRn) from three independent sperm purifications and ChIP assays. Error bars represent standard error of the means."
